Daisies Are STRONG!

We continued to work on our Courageous and Strong petal this week - focusing on the STRONG part.

Our daisy meeting was led by none other than Coach T (otherwise known as Mikaela's daddy).

He started us out with a small job around the backyard (not many were complaining at this point).

Then we stretched. As we stretched, he told us which stretches were used by football players, which ones wrestlers used, and what the stretches were doing for us. Definitely a sight to see - some of us were falling over trying to hang to reach our toes, others of us were whining that they could "feel the burn."

Next came the competitions (everyone wins - all team work of course!).

There were animal relays - kangaroo, crab, elephant, frog, and a few others!

Then, we worked on team work activities. The girls all gathered in a circle and worked to keep one team member inside.

We ended as all atheletes do - with a cheer (on 3 - DAISIES) - and a few high fives.

Coach T tried to convince us that football was better than a diamond ring (better than a diamond ring "football" "football"). I don't think any of our delicate flowers were buying that one!
