THAT Show

This weekend was our Christmas program at church.

Xander sang in our preschool choir - dressed as angels. Yes, that drew a big "awwww" from the audience! We worked hard on 5 songs to sing: Hide and Seek, Mary had a baby boy, Angels Sing Glory, Christmas Bells, and Happy Birthday!

Mikaela participated in the Kid's Life Choir for the first time - such priveldges come with being a kindergartener these days! She chose to be a patient in the hospital (the other choice was to be homeless!). We bought new Hello Kitty festive pajamas for the occasion.

She also volunteered for a duet! She was so excited. We practiced for weeks! Her lines were:

Echoes of prophets fullness of time

A new song begins as a baby cries

Can this song of Bethlehem mean hope for today?

Can we like the sheppards and angels say

If you were on the front row - you got to hear all of that!

As the song went on, she and her duet partner (Emily) began to fight over possession of the microphone (which they had to be on tip toes to reach!).
